Review: In our comparisons, Net Detective is one of the top detective sites. For starters, they are the only site we have reviewed that has a proprietary database. This database contains over 400 milllion individual records. Here's how it works:

• They continually purchase/obtain databases of information from third parties.
• They compile them into one big Net Detective database.
• You are able to access this database using a simple search box on their site.

How does this benefit you? It saves you tons of time: my sample search took only 0.340 seconds! You are able to powerfully search a huge database with just one click: my sample search returned some of the most thorough results compared to the other sites we've reviewed. Its other benefits include:

• It is the only site with a users manual (the other sites we've reviewed have basic FAQs, but Net Detective has both FAQs and a users manual). This can really save time if you're having difficulty with the site (although we had no difficulty using the site).
• It is the only site that is endorsed by The National Association of Independent Private Investigators.
• Their customer service section is the best that we have seen
• You save money: it is the second least expensive site we have reviewed and the 4th cheapest in our comparison chart of 16 sites.

Overall, it is one of the most well organized and easy to use sites we have reviewed. Also, it is important to note that they had no broken links.

Downside: As of this writing, they are updating their manual, so some instructions are outdated (but at least they have a manual). It is only a one year subscription. As with the other detective sites, if you want to dig deeper, you may have to pay an extra fee.

Bottom Line: This is one of the best sites we have reviewed so far. It has a simple but powerful search box that makes for easy, "one click" searches. They are endorsed by The National Association of Independent Private Investigators. They are one of the least expensive that we have reviewed. Highly recommended.
